Data-driven learning and better structure: Hermods YH on Omniway

Janina Schmidt, head of unit at Hermods YH, shares how Omniway has helped streamline operations and improve education.

Data-driven learning and better structure: Hermods YH on Omniway

The need: more control and visibility

Before Omniway, Hermods used the Ping Pong learning platform. The setup worked but lacked sufficient transparency and required heavy administration.

"The problem was that we had no insight into what was happening, and it required a lot of manual work. We wanted a platform closer to our operations that we could influence more," Janina explains.

The solution: clear structure and statistics

"The main goal is for our programs and courses to be clear to students, so they can see what to do, submit examinations, and get the study information they need," she says.

Room for data-driven work

"We now have a completely different ability to gather statistics. It gives us better control of how classes are progressing and helps us work in a more data-driven way," Janina explains.

The result: tailored development and close collaboration

"We've been able to influence and roll out several changes, for example how re-examinations are handled and how diplomas look. We really appreciate the close collaboration," she says.
